BOOKKEEPER

Valerie is our bookkeeper. Here she is testing her latest recipe. She also writes our royalty checks and all our authors agree that they are absolutely delicious!---though we all wish they were larger. We're working on that.

PROOFREADER / EDITOR:

Jenny Magar is senior copy editor for Elderberry Press. She is a professional editor who helps authors communicate their message clearly and ensures consistency in spelling, punctuation, style, and statements of fact. Prior to joining the Elderberry team, Jenny worked as a proofreader for Kensington Publishers, proofreading over 200 novels, some by best-selling authors as listed in the New York Times and USA Today.

About working for Elderberry, Jenny says, "As an editor, I feel fortunate to be working for a publisher who values the author so highly. During the editorial process, I am careful to maintain the author's message, level of diction, and tone of voice." Jenny always includes a thorough style sheet with every project and is available to discuss any editorial change. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her boyfriend, Paul, and their adorable kitty. Raven OKeefe is our house artist. She specializes in wildlife art, line art and color illustration. She works in publishing, raises lambs on her ranch in Scio, Oregon, and meets every book cover deadline. Her caring consultation with authors is a great asset to us---and our authors. Linda Wilson is our data transcriber. Linda has an eye for detail and a standard for quality that helps us get each book just right. She lives in Oakland with her husband of 50 years where she raises rhododendrons and roses.
